(1) Test the MAP sensor output voltage at the
MAP sensor connector between terminals 2 and 3
(Fig. 93). With the ignition switch ON and the engine
not running, output voltage should be 4 to 5 volts.
The voltage should drop to 1.5 to 2.1 volts with a hot,
neutral idle speed condition. If OK, go to next step. If
not OK, go to step 3.
(2) Test PCM terminal 36 for the same voltage
described in the previous step to verify wire harness
condition. Repair as required.
(3) Test the MAP sensor ground circuit at sensor
connector terminal 1 and PCM terminal 43. If OK, go
to next step. If not OK, repair as required.
(4) Test MAP sensor supply voltage between sensor
connector terminals 2 and 1 with the key ON.
The voltage should be approximately 5 volts (6.5V).
Five volts (6.5V) should also be at terminal 61 of the
PCM. If OK, replace MAP sensor. If not OK, repair or
replace the wire harness as required.

varbuut kaads zin vai ir pieejama tabula ar MAP raadijumiem
t.i. kaadam spiedienam jaabuut pie noteiktiem apgriezieniem, temperatuuras??!!

Vai novērsīs- nezinu, neesu gaišreģis, bet iztīrīt nekad par ļaunu nenāk, teorētiski vārsta micīte un sēžas vieta var aizaugt un tad viņš nepareizi atveras vai aizveras un rodas nepareiza gaisa padeve, "lean" gadijumā varētu būt ka vārsts neaizveras tik cik vajag un motors dabū iesūkt vairāk gaisa nekā vajag.
Man liekas ka tavam nemaz nav gaisa mērītāja, tā vietā ir MAP sensors, ja kļūdos - palabojat mani.

Q: What is "fuel is too lean" mean in the diagnostic test?

A: Fuel Too Lean is possibly one of the most difficult computer codes to diagnose. Why is that? There are a couple of things that you need to understand first, before you understand what too lean means. An engine to run correctly needs a good balance of air and fuel. This balance is called the air /fuel ratio. A correct balance of air and fuel is generally at a ratio of 14.7 pounds of air to one 1 pound of fuel. If you change either number of that ratio, is will have an effect on the engines performance. The computer in your vehicle is always working to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio. However, as time goes on the engine wears, fuel injectors become restricted, vacuum leaks happen and sensors may become worn and/or lie to the computer. After all, it is a rough environment under the hood of your vehicle. The engineers designed the program in your vehicles computer to make adjustments to compensate for changes that occur with time. This ability of the computer is called adaptive learn. But, there is a limit to how much the computer can adapt, all the while, maintaining the ideal air/fuel ratio. If the computer determines that it cannot adapt any more to provide enough fuel for the amount of air entering the engine it will turn on the check engine light and report a code indicating that the system is too lean. Too much air entering the engine for the amount of fuel available. There is also a code for the opposite condition of the engine receiving too much fuel, system too rich. In either case, the code does not indicate a broken sensor, all it means is that the computer cannot maintain the correct air/fuel ratio and it wants help in fixing the problem. Ive seen many parts replaced because of this code that did not fix the problem. Youll need a technician that understands and has the necessary diagnostic tools to provide the correct solution to a system too lean computer code.

vai šī vārsta iztīrīšana var novērst P0171 kļūdu?
lasiju internetā, lai šo kļūdu novērstu jātīra MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensors. vai tas ir viens un tas pats?
vai tīrīšanai drīkst izmantot WD40?

Tas vārsts ir droseles korpusam pieskrūvēts, jānem nost visa drosele un kārtīgi jāizberž, mēdz pamatīgi aizaugt. Pašam vārstam jau gan tur nekā daudz nav ko tīrīt..

P0171System Too Lean ko var darīt ar šo kļūdas paziņojumu, kas pie vainas?

vai tam ir kāds sakars ar tukšgaitas vārstu, servisā teica ka tas esot jāiztīra, bet nezinu kāds tas izskatās un kur atrodās, varbūt kādam ir bilde?

Либо некорректный сигнал с датчика режимов автоматической коробки. ( Для ГРУЗОВИКОВ 1995г.в. и позже , данный код может сигнализировать о выходе из строя датчика охлаждающей жидкости в АКПП )

For normally aspirated (non turbo) engines with automatic transmissions, code 37 will be triggered when the Part Throttle Unlock (PTU) solenoid circuit is open or shorted.

This is detected when the ECU doesn’t sense near 0vdc or 12vdc at the relay when the solenoid is turned on or off. When code 37 is thrown the power limited light will not be lit and the system will not enter limp mode.

Poor wiring or connection - Read the page ‘How to troubleshoot drivability issues’. Check the wiring and connections from the logic module to the solenoid. Clean and re-grease the connectors with dielectric grease.

Defective solenoid - The solenoid is located in the right, front fender next to one to three other solenoids. See the Understanding Solenoids page for information about how to test and repair solenoids.
